I am all about creating brand photos that feel exciting and editorial while capturing your true spirit.
About Lauren
I am happiest when I am discovering new places and people every day. That is one of the reasons I love being a photographer!
As a kid, I was always in awe at the travel photos in National Geographic. In college, I developed the desire…not just to travel, but to experience everyday life in a foreign country. After graduating from Western Michigan’s BFA Photography program in 2014, I took the leap to live abroad for the first time. Between 2015 and 2020 I lived in South Korea, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and China, teaching English while taking photos along the way.
It took a pandemic for me to finally make the switch to full-time photographer. Throughout 2020 I started taking more portraits and I realized that I love working with entrepreneurs simply because I am inspired by them.
I think it’s fascinating to get a look at how different people run their businesses and bring their visions to life. I love that I get to learn from different people every day.
I want to learn as much as I can about you, your business, and your goals so that I can help you shine while you share your brand with the world! Let’s go above and beyond and make some photos that surprise everyone, while still nailing your personality.
I am based in Metro Detroit but love to travel for work whether it be internationally, domestically, or even to the next town over.

Other than creating amazing photos, my biggest goal as a photographer is to make sure you have a fantasic experience!
From showing you the photos as we go, to giving you lots of posing direction, I will make sure you feel comfortable & empowered while we work together.
