Personal Brand Photos for a Social Marketing Expert in Detroit

Working with other creative entrepreneurs is so much fun because, oftentimes, you get a license to be wild! It’s my goal to create vibrant, editorial-style brand photos for bold female leaders, which pretty much describes Tiffany of Twiz Creative.

Twiz Creative helps businesses in Metro Detroit with social marketing strategy, content creation, branding, and more. As a leader in the social media game, we had to make sure that Tiffany came across as fun and on-trend, while also looking like an authority in her field.

Tiffany chose my full day brand photo package which allowed us to fit in a handful of aesthetic locations. We started at her home office, moved on to the Detroit Institute of Arts, walked the streets of Downtown Detroit, and even ended at Belle Isle Beach.

Downtown Detroit is one of my favorite places to shoot because there really is such a great variety there. We were able to pop into glamorous hotel lobbies and sleek cafes, while also getting some more textural, cityscape shots. In the photos below you will see Tiffany in the lobby of the Shinola Hotel, through the glass of Cannelle Patisserie, and in front of a wall that was only temporarily up, just before the grand opening of Detroit’s Gucci store.

I made sure to get staged “behind the scenes” shots, such as the one of Tiffany using her phone on a tripod to film a reel, because it’s important to illustrate what she does for her clients at Twiz Creative. Then I made sure to get a ton of lifestyle shots that show off her unique personality and style because that’s what leave her potential clients intrigued and wanting to know more.
